I spent this past Saturday over at Alyssa's house, making cards for injured soldiers.
She had to make like. 50 of them. And it was just the two of us.
Yup, you can bet it took FOREVER.
Eventually though, Stephanie joined us, and we got done a lot quicker. Thank goodness!

At first, we weren't quite sure of what to say on the cards. Alyssa even googled what was usually inside of cards like these. On one card, I ended up just putting "GOOD JOB, SOLDIER" on the inside... I hope he still likes it.
I didn't realize how much effort we were putting into each card until after spending a couple hours at her house and only having around EIGHT cards.
When Stephanie got there, we had a little over half done. We stayed until around 11:30 at night and still had five cards to go. But Alyssa finished them before the due date, so it was all good!
When she told me that our cards were the best ones out of all the people's sent (or at least the ones with the most time spent on them), I was so proud.
We put lots of work into them, and I really hope they make a lot of people happy.

You see that big eagle stretched out in the middle? That's one of mine! (  .) (  .)
