And it's the 24th.

There's a song that I'm in love with that most people don't seem to like when I play it for them.
I mean, no offense or anything, but I don't see how anyone could hate this song!
The singer has a sort of unusual voice, and I'll admit that I might have brushed it off after the first few seconds of listening to her... but if you know the lyrics, it really is one of the best songs ever. And you kinda forget about her singing voice (which isn't BAD, it's just nothing like what you'd hear on the radio) and you learn to sing along because, c'mon. How can you not?
How many songs today have positive messages? I mean, REALLY positive? Cause that's all this song is. It's just bursting with positivity. Every time I listen to it, I'm instantly optimistic about the rest of the day. I think "Everything's gonna be alright, cause I just listened to Pollyanna! Nothing can make me sad today!" which may sound kinda dumb, but I honestly don't know any other songs that I can say that about.

 Anyway... My absolute favorite part of the song would have to be this:

I believe there'll come a day

Maybe it will be tomorrow

When the bluebird flies away

All we have to do is follow

I believe a dream can still come true

Why shouldn't I believe the same in you?

(doesn't that just brighten your day? powerful stuff)
But yesterday I was riding home with Emily and she made me switch the song before it even got there! ;(
Oh well. I can't really convince people to like a song.
All I'm saying is that you should give this one a chance because it's a lot better than most songs out there.
