James, in the town of Silent Hill (:D)

So... I'm sure you've already read Michelle's blog about this. She came over yesterday and spent the day because we were both exempt from our finals. We played some Guitar Hero and some Mario Party, but the main thing we played was Silent Hill (a scary! game).

Stephanie and I are big time Silent Hill fans (but bigger Pokemon fans). We have Silent Hills 2, 3, 4, and Origins (missing 1...we play games out of order)! The only one we actually bought was Silent Hill 2 (my favorite!); 3 and 4 we stole from our sister while she was on vacation (hehe); Origins, we originally rented, but never beat it (still haven't...) and checked it out so much that the clerks at the store just told us to buy it. Heh.
Gonna try and get the new one for Wii for Christmas, but I don't think it'll be as fun (or scary) because they took all the fighting out of it. :(
Anyway! Enough of that... Let's get to the point!

Silent Hill 2 is fun! James likes to look at stuff on the ground! And stuff that's not on the ground! Like Maria! Blech, Maria! Mac and cheese is good! But not as good as when you're eatin it with your best-est buddy! My Lickilicky is really strong! I could probably beat the whole Elite 4 with it! Haha, just kidding! But really, I could! I almost beat Alyssa's team of Pokemon with it! Well, actually I didn't! But almost! Michelle and Emily need to get Pokemon games! So we can all battle each other! And I can destroy them with my Lickilicky! Whose name is Leila! Because she's a girl! Lickilicky Leila!
:D

P.S. I like to use parenthesis! And exclamation points! And ...'s! (...!)
P.S.S. the laptop I'm on SUCKS. The spacebar only works half the time and most of the keys are wonky (hehe, wonky) so if there's a missing space or some misspelled words, sorry. I tried my best to spell check.
P.S.S.S.S.S.S. Ugh, my head hurts after typing all this... yours prolly hurts too if you read it all, haha. I think it's cause I used so many exclamation points! It feels like I'm screaming! Ahh!

EDIT: Title and Lickilicky picture are misleading... LOL
Second pic is of a Pokemon. Which has nothing to do with Silent Hill. Just clarifying that.

When I came home the other day, the Christmas tree was up. Even though I had wanted to help with it, I was kinda grateful that I didn't have to deal with the hassle. So, I checked under the tree. I expected to find nothing... And I did.
But the NEXT day, I checked again, and there was one! It was a fairly medium-sized box, wrapped in ordinary wrapping paper (ordinary wrapping paper=snowmen wrapping paper at our house... Mom has an obsession), and no bow. It also didn't have a label on it. Instead, the letters TO STACIE were written in big, black sharpie.
Don't get me wrong, I was excited. But also skeptical... I was certain it was my dad's handwriting... and I wouldn't classify him as a very generous guy. I mean, it was the only present under the tree... And usually my parents get ALL the presents wrapped, with bows and labels, THEN stick them under the tree. But this was the only one under there, obviously wrapped in a hurry with no bow or label.
I haven't opened it yet, but I've shaken it a few times. And I'm pretty sure I have a good idea of what's inside...
coal

I guess he's read my blog about him.
:'(

Edit: it was actually a box of rocks... I got the coal from my uncle. Delightful!

I absolutely love Christmas lights. They're always so cheerful, especially brightly colored ones.
In elementary school, I remember making my mom drive around town just so we could look at them all.
It doesn't matter if they're on the roof, or on the ground, or on a tree. They're always fun to look at!
I wouldn't say they're my favorite thing about Christmas, but they're one of the many joys of the holiday season.

Another thing I like about Christmas is the togetherness kind of feeling you get. I can't really explain it, but I'm pretty sure everyone feels it, y'know? Around this time, I see relatives I haven't seen in a year or more and we all have a good time together. The family celebrates Christmas at our house, so our house is always CLEAN around Christmas time. And it always smells like good food. And it's always covered in brightly colored Christmas lights. And ALL of these things make me happy! :)

You know, I consider myself a nice person. A nice person who has even nicer friends.
But friends change. I change. People change.
Sometimes I can deal with it, but other times it's really tough.
I've had a lot of great people in my life who've changed and left me behind. And sometimes I was the one who changed.
Often times I know that I could have prevented them from leaving, but I didn't.
And I hate myself for it.

It seems like I've had this happen a lot, especially during high school.
But, I don't know... I guess everything's just changing.
